Message from the Publisher
On behalf of all at Worldwide Christian Publications I am proud to present LIGHT INTERNATIONAL - The Global Review of Christianity - the first of which appeared 22 years ago...
The earlier articles, on the whole remain as relevant for today's church as they were in the mid nineties..
We are deeply appreciative, and never tire of reading the written works of our Christian leaders and personalities, from many denominations and backgrounds from around the world, who contribute their spiritual experiences and insights to this global reference work. It is intended to glorify God and reveal how the Holy Spirit is working in different parts of the world today.
We pray that you will be both blessed and spurred on to accomplish even more for Jesus, just as we have been encouraged too, so that we shall all be reassured that we have '..run the race set before us..'
we strongly recommend the leadership of Churches to try out the technology and other suggestions referred to in the Business of Ministry section to help expand their ministries.
We would encourage all readers to support the charities such as Teen Challange, founded by David Wilkerson, author of 'The Cross and the Switchblade' and our 'Witness of the Spirit' article, which should help steer us away from compromised or false doctrine...
The drug rehabilitation charity Teen Challange was visited by Princess Diana, when she was undertaking no official duties and was such a special and memorable occasion for them, that its report remains here on page 15, together with the many other worthy missions to be found in our pages.
Business people will be stimulated by the miraculous new dimension of experiencing 'Jesus at Work' reported on by members of the 'International Christian Chamber of Commerce' in the Ministry of Business section.
But my prayers in particular go to those of you who may not yet have received the blessings of knowing Jesus Christ as Lord of your lives, that you will be drawn to read LIGHT INTERNATIONAL as a step on the way. You may go on to study the prayer which Kriss Akabusi uses in sharing his faith with other athletes: you will find it on page 40. Your lives too can be transformed; from the moment you too pray this from your heart, you will 'never walk alone' and will have a 'peace that passes understanding' even in the most difficult of circumstances.
